CastExpo'10 Registration Underway, Adds New Events
AFS and the North American Die Casting Association have opened registration for CastExpo'10, which will be held March 20-23, 2010, at the Orange County Convention Center, Orlando, Fla. Historically, CastExpo has offered a breadth of technical sessions, as well as hundreds of suppliers detailing the latest advancements in metalcasting products.

New Grede Secures $60 Million
Grede Holdings LLC secured a new revolving credit and security agreement with Bank of America as a lender and as agent for the lenders. Wells Fargo Capital Finance is a co-lender on the transaction. Read more

Flow Science, AlchemCast in Consulting Agreement
CFD software developer Flow Science Inc. reports it has entered into a cooperative agreement with AlchemCast LLC to provide computational fluid dynamics (CFD) consulting services to ferrous and aluminum sand casting operations. Read more

Cast-Fab Settles Air-Pollution Charges with Ohio EPA
The Ohio Environmental Agency reached an agreement with Cast-Fab Inc., settling air-pollution control permit, rule, and law violations. Cast-Fab is a combination foundry and fabricating job shop in Cincinnati. Read more
