Webinar: Large Scale Reverse Engineering Using 3D Laser
Scanning
June 15, 2010 from 2:00-3:00PM EST
Reverse Engineering is the process of duplicating an existing part,
sub-assembly or product, without the use of documentation or of a CAD
model.
Large Scale Reverse Engineering Using 3D Laser Scanning will demonstrate
how advancements in 3D laser scanning technology have allowed engineers
the flexibility to use this non-contact measurement solution to create
as-built part reproduction accurately and efficiently.
In this webinar you will learn:
- Laser scanning - what it is and how does it work
- Using the laser scanner to document large objects
- Registering multiple data sets
- Using scan data in point cloud software
- Using scan data with other down stream applications
