Superior Industries Invests in Indian Wheel
Manufacturer
Superior Industries International, Inc. has acquired a minority
stake in Synergies Castings, which produces aluminum wheels by
low-pressure diecasting at a plant in Visakhapatnam, India. The castings
are customized with a copper-nickel-chrome electroplating technology.

Ashland Foundry and Machine: Renamed and
Expanding its Sights
The longtime ITT Industries Goulds Pumps plant in Ashland, PA, is
now Ashland Foundry and Machine Works, following a sale late last year
to the owner of West Coast Foundry. Like Ashland Foundry, the Huntington
Park, CA, operation produces castings in stainless steel and other
high-value ferrous grades.
