SinterCast reports that Jaguar Land Rover has unveiled its fourth, commercial-scale engine in compacted graphite iron (CGI), a 4.4-liter V8 turbo diesel. The engine is in series production at the Tupy foundry in Brazil, a longtime SinterCast customer. Read more

GE Capital, Restructuring Finance extended a $100-million credit facility to Neenah Enterprises Inc., the ferrous foundry group that emerged from bankruptcy last month. Read more

Grede Plant Earns Caterpillar’s Quality Certification
The Bessemer plant is the first Grede Holdings LLC facility to receive Cat's SQEP certification, and Grede expects that it will lead to "preferred" for more new business thanks to the award. Read more
