Centrifugal force disc locks blades in place; dove-tale grooves and a center plate blades’ alignment Quick, simple changes Compatible with existing systems Supports high-throughput

RÖSLER METAL FINISHING’s new C-lock turbine wheel uses the centrifugal force of the spinning disc to lock blades in place. The C-lock turbine features dove-tale grooves and a center plate to retain their position and ensure precise blade alignment. According to the developer, the wheel eliminates the need for fasteners, so changing blades is a quick and easy project.

The turbine wheel also is compatible with existing housings, motors, control cages, and impellers.

Updating blast-finishing systems with a C-lock turbine will reduce downtime significantly, according to the developer, and costs 30% less than fastener style wheels. It is recommended for three-shift operations where reliability is critical.
