Consolidated Casting, Sawbrook Steel Castings achievements noted

Dallas-based Consolidated Casting Corp. reports that its Hutchins, TX, investment casting, machining, and fabricating plant recently was recertified to the ISO 9001:2008 standard. The auditor noted in its report that if found no major nor any minor non-conformance areas in the operation, according to the company.

CCC manufactures precision investment castings and assemblies for commercial and industrial applications, and for the industrial gas turbine market. It also claims to have been the first investment casting company to earn QS-9000 certification.

Sawbrook Steel Castings Co., in Cincinnati, announced that it has been certified to the latest ISO 9001-2008 quality management system standards. Sawbrook was certified to the ISO 9001-2000 standard in December 2006.

Sawbrook is one of North America’s oldest steel foundries in continuous operation, having been established in 1923.  It supplies castings that range in size from 2 to 12,000 lb, and it lists approximately 150 active OEM customers. The company has three affiliate businesses: Advantage Precision Products LLC , Cushman Foundry LLC, and Sawbrook International LLC.
