Diatool Monobloc reamers are available with short or long shaft lengths, with and without internal coolant supply, in diameters from 5.6 mm to 60.599 mm (special diameters to 100.599 mm.)

Multi-Blade Reamers Increase Feed Rates, Lower TCO

Up to 150% faster precision boring, reduced cycle times compared to single-point tools Short or long shaft lengths Repeatable re-tipping Longer service life, lower cost per bore

MONAGHAN TOOLING offers Diatool monobloc multi-blade reamers that produce precision bores with significantly higher feed rates (up to 150% faster) and reduced cycle times, when compared with single-point tools. This increased production coupled with longer service life due to the re-tipping capability of the multi-blade design, lowers the total cost of ownership.

Monobloc designs provide excellent stability and bore quality. Standard tooling is available with short or long shaft lengths, with and without internal coolant supply, in diameters from 5.6 mm to 60.599 mm (special diameters to 100.599 mm). They are well suited to precision boring and reaming for diverse industries, such as automotive aerospace, fluid power, oil-and-gas, heavy industry, and more.

Monaghan Tooling Group’s application engineers consult with customers to maximize feed rates, elongate service life and lower the cost per bore with a combination of various cutting materials and coatings to suit particular process requirements.

Diatool multi-blade reamers can be repeatedly re-tipped (a minimum of 10 times if tool body is kept in good condition), providing an economical solution to precision boring. Re-tipped blades last as long as new blades, thus lowering the cost per bore and total cost of ownership.

Standard and custom reamers are typically available 4-6 weeks from receipt of order, and backed with nationwide service and support.

Monaghan Tooling Group partners with standard and custom tooling manufacturers, and provides engineered tooling and services, including application-related consulting, to solve machining challenges.
