After 52 years, Keeler will start laying off in April
Keeler Die Cast, Grand Rapids, MI, has announced plans to close permanently by May 27, according to news accounts. The 52-year-old operation will begin laying off its 120 employees by April 5.

The company is owned by a British firm, FK1 Group.

Keeler produces zinc diecastings for decorative applications in the residential and office furniture manufacturing industries. Its companion company, Keeler Brass Co., recently reassigned its manufacturing needs to offshore producers.
