Report says they'll make/market propeller engines
According to reports, Honda Motor Co Ltd. -- which recently formed a joint-venture with General Electric to develop and market engines for the corporate jet sector -- is concluding plans with Teledyne Continental Motors to build propeller engines for small planes. A Honda spokesman has said the planning has been underway for almost a year, but are not yet final.

Teledyne Continental is a business unit of Teledyne Technologies.

The reports originate in Japanese trade papers, and content the Honda/Teledyne venture would manufacture and market engines, as well as engine components.
