Grede Taps Auburn Manager for Indiana Foundry

Jeff Hipple to v.p. – operations at New Castle
Grede Foundries Inc., Milwaukee, has named Jeff Hipple as vice president of operations for its New Castle, IN, foundry. He had been plant manager for Auburn Foundry Co., which filed for bankruptcy in February. Before joining Auburn, Hipple was v.p.-operations for General Casting Co.

Hipple earned a bachelor of science degree. in Business Administration from Elizabethtown College.

Grede Foundries operates nine foundries in the U.S. and a joint-venture operation in Mexico, ProezaGrede. It specialize in gray iron, ductile iron, stainless steel, and specialty metal castings, and supplies customers that produce automobiles, construction machinery, farm machinery and equipment, pumps, and compressors.
