HA International L.L.C., Westmont, IL, and IGC Technologies, Milwaukee, have agreed for HA to act as exclusive North American distributor of IGC’s Veinseal products. Together, the firms stated:

“We are excited about the opportunity presented by this strategic alliance and we believe the relationship will result in a stronger technical effort to develop process technology optimizing the use of Veinseal products, in conjunction with chemical binders and foundry sand for the production of cores and molds that are more resilient to casting expansion defects such as veining.”

HA International is the world’s largest producer of resin-coated sand and the North American metalcasting industry’s largest supplier of chemical binders and refractory coatings.

IC Technologies develops and manufactures sand additives for foundries to minimize, “and potentially eliminate,” expansion defects.
