British operation to be relocated in Hungary
Norwegian aluminum producer Hydro Aluminium plans to close its HA Motorcast plant in Leeds, England, early next year. The operations will be relocated to a plant in Gvoer, Hungeary.

HA Motorcast produce aluminum cylinder heads for automakers in the U.K. Expanding the business has been unsuccessful, according to reports. Sales and profits have not improved in spite of Hydro’s efforts to improve its competitiveness.
