Wichita-based Industrial Ventures Inc. has bought the assets and continuing operations of Peterson Machine Tool Inc., Kansas City and Council Grove, KS. IVI is the parent of Viking Blast and Wash Systems, which produces various industrial washing and blasting systems.

Peterson Machine Tool manufactures and distributes engine rebuilding and cleaning equipment. IVI plans to combine some of the manufacturing and administrative functions of Viking and Peterson. And, the Peterson sales and distribution network will begin to offer the Viking product line.
