Thermalcast LLC, the new company formed recently by purchasers of the Kennedy Die Castings Inc. assets, have named Russell D. Davis as president and CEO of the new organization. Worcester, MA-based Thermalcast specializes in producing advanced die-cast parts.

Davis is described as a diecasting expert and has industry experience stretching over 40 years. He previously operated R.D. Davis Consulting LLC in Holland, MI, and was chairman and president Ube Corp.’s North American Operations in Mason, OH; general manager of ITT Automotive Precision Castings in Cleveland; president and CEO of Inverness Castings Group of Beechwood, OH; and President of Madison Kipp Corp., Madison, WI.

Davis is a former chairman of the American Die Casting Institute (now North American Die Casting Assn.) and the recipient of many awards, including The Doehler Award and The Lillegren Award.
