Japanese Diecaster Plans New Plant in China

Fourth aluminum automotive plant in China for Aisin Seiki

Tokyo-based Aisin Seiki recently announced its establishment earlier this year of Tangshan Aisin Automotive Parts Co., Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary, in Tangshan, China. Aisin Seiki is an aluminum diecaster.

With an initial investment of $43,475,000, the new company will be Aisin Seiki’s fourth diecasting plant for in China. Production is scheduled to begin in November 2006, and Aisin Seiki expects that the new subsidiary $32.7 million in sales in FY 2007 and $47.7 million in FY 2010, according to a Japanese press report..
