Honda Motor Co. recognized Grede Foundries in Reedsburg, WI, among the 33 supplier companies it honored with awards for quality, in a presentation in May. The automaker has 600 different suppliers eligible for the award, according to Honda’s Dennis Weaver. The Honda representative also commended Grede’s customer assistance and teamwork.

"In this day and age it's a lot more difficult to win an award like that," Todd Sternaman, group vice president of Grede’s ductile iron operations, told the Reedsburg (WI) Times-Press.

Grede Foundries Inc. produces gray iron, ductile iron, stainless steel, and specialty iron castings.
