Three-day educational seminar about best-practices

Ashland Casting Solutions recently completed a successful three-day seminar for foundry professionals at the company's headquarters in Dublin, OH.

The seminars focus on helping metal casters improve quality, productivity, and cost efficiency with presentations on the latest improvements in core- and mold-making practices. Topics ranging from cold-box equipment and casting defects to riser sleeves and safety were covered.

"We are delighted with attendance topping 60 people from throughout the Americas for our spring seminars," said Mike Swartzlander, v.p. and general manager. "Ashland has been offering this training in the practical aspects of core and mold making as a benefit to our customers for over 25 years, and this is our 135th seminar session at global headquarters."

The next Ashland Casting Solutions seminar is scheduled for Sept. 20-22 in Dublin, OH.
