Citation Corp., a Birmingham-based holding company for a series of foundry and forging operations, has promotes Geoffry A. Bell to the post of vice president and chief financial officer. Bell has been with Citation as treasurer since 2000, and as vice president and treasurer since 2001.

The company details that Bell has been instrumental in Citation’s recent reorganization. The group filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in September 2004, but emerged in May.

Before joining Citation, Bell was with Tyler Refrigeration Corp. for 12 years as manager of manufacturing accounting, director of finance, and vice president, treasurer, and CFO.
