Accuride Names VP/GM for Brillon Iron Works

Miller called “instrumental” to success at Rockford Foundry

Accuride Corp., Evansville, IN, named Rockford Foundry plant manager Mike Miller as the new vice president/general manager of its Brillion Iron Work subsidiary.

Miller holds a bachelor of science degree in Industrial Technology from the University of Wisconsin – Platteville, and a M.B.A from Cardinal Stritch University.

Rockford Foundry is a division of Gunite Corp, which is also a subsidiary of Accuride.

Accuride is a diversified manufacturer and supplier of commercial vehicle components, including commercial vehicle wheels, wheel-end components and assemblies, truck body and chassis parts, seating assemblies and other commercial vehicle components. Accuride's products are marketed under brand names that include Accuride, Gunite, Imperial, Bostrom, Fabco and Brillion.

"Mike's knowledge of and experience in foundry operations is extensive," explained Bob Nida, Accuride's senior vice president/operations - Wheels, Gunite and Brillion Iron Works. "Since joining Gunite, Mike has been instrumental in the implementation of numerous continual improvement initiatives surrounding safety, quality and productivity. We look for Mike to have similar success investigating and implementing initiatives at Brillion."
