According to Novacast Technologies, Intermet Corp. has adopted Novacast’s ATAS process-control system for its Neunkirchen, Germany, foundry. Neunkirchen is one of three foundries Intermet operates in Germany and produces about 100,000 metric tons/year of engine components and brake parts for Ford, General Motors, DaimlerChrysler, Toyota, and BMW, among others.

Novacast has also taken an order from Doering GmbH, an iron foundry in Sinn, Germany, for its NovaFlow & Solid simulation software. Doering also signed a Technology Partner Agreement with Novacast, which provides the customer with upgrades and advanced technical support.

NovaCast Technologies also has an order from England’s Brockmoor Foundry Co in England, which is upgrading its Technology Partner Agreement for the ATAS process control system.
