Also, warehouse expansion at Columbus

Allied Mineral Products has opened a new manufacturing center in Tholen, The Netherlands. The 42,733-ft2 facility near Rotterdam replaces a warehouse and sales office.

The producer of monolithic refractories also reports it has expanded warehouse space at its Columbus, OH, manufacturing operation. An extra 12,000 ft2 is reported to improve plant organization and manufacturing flexibility, and Allied says it will help it to serve North American customers better.
