Allied Mineral Products has opened a new manufacturing center in Tholen, The Netherlands. The 42,733-ft² facility near Rotterdam replaces a warehouse and sales office.

The producer of monolithic refractories also reports it has expanded warehouse space at its Columbus, OH, manufacturing operation. An extra 12,000 ft² is reported to improve plant organization and manufacturing flexibility, and Allied says it will help it to serve North American customers better.
