Intermet Corp. has moved its corporate offices to a new location in Troy, MI, and has set up an improved corporate data center there, too. The company had operated it MIS facility in Columbus, GA.

The telephone number and all extensions remain the same as they were at the former site, and all e-mail addresses are unchanged, too.

"The new office is another way for the company to reduce costs," said Bytha Mills, Intermet's v.p. Administration. "Plus, it provides a more functional utilization of space. It also allows for the installation of our new Data Center, the continuation of efforts to modernize our IT base."

Intermet manufactures powertrain, chassis/suspension, and structural cast components for automakers. The company recently completed a Chapter 11 reorganization after a little more than a year in bankruptcy.
