Superior Industries Earns Wheel Supply Programs from Ford

Seven assignments, for Ford, Lincoln, and Mercury

Superior Industries International reports it has been awared seven supply programs by Ford Motor Co., for new and replacement aluminum wheels.

Based in Van Nuys, CA, Superior supplies aluminum wheels and other aluminum automotive components to Ford, GM, DaimlerChrysler, Audi, BMW, Isuzu, Jaguar, Land Rover, Mazda, MG Rover, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Subaru, Toyota, and Volkswagen.

In the new supply programs, Superior will manufacture aluminum wheels for the 2006 Lincoln Town Car/Mercury Grand Marquis, the 2006 Ford Five Hundred, the 2006 Ford Freestyle, the 2006 Mercury Montego, and the 2006 Mercury Mountaineer.

Also, Superior won contracts to manufacture a new line of 16-, 17-, and 18-inch aluminum wheels for the 2006 Ford Explorer and the 2007 Ford Sport Trac. These programs replace previous supply agreements.
