Pacific Cast Technologies, a Ladish company producing investment castings in Albany, OR, has received Rolls-Royce PLC's 2005 Joint Strike Fighter Supplier of the Year award, in recognition of its achievement for "best all round supply-chain performance" on the Roll Post Nozzle, a component of the F135 lift fan system.

PCT President Randy Turner commented, "The award’s performance criteria included eliminating concessions on complex nozzle machining, delivering on-time throughout the course of the year, and actively pursuing cost reductions."

The investment caster supplies titanium parts for airframe, turbine engine, and aerospace structural applications.
