Sees growing demand from aluminum foundries in China, Asia

Consolidated Engineering Co., Kennesaw, GA, has opened a new office in Shanghai to address growing demand from manufacturers in China and Southeast Asia. CEC presently has a manufacturing center in Kennesaw, and sales offices in Mexico and Switzerland.

According to CEO Scott Crafton, “The Asian market is rapidly expanding and presents an excellent opportunity for CEC in the aluminum casting and foundry implementation arenas. We have already had great success with several major manufacturers in China and Japan, and we anticipate that this is only the beginning for CEC in this market.”

CEC offers heat-processing technologies for various manufacturing segments. Its product lines include Sand Lion, “the only 3-in-1 foundry system”; CleanCast, a new solution heat-treatment system; and other aluminum heat treat systems.
