Wheelabrator Group Opens Subsidiary in Mexico

Focusing on aftermarket requirements with parts, services, and equipment modernization programs

April 17, 2006 -- Wheelabrator Group has opened a regional subsidiary, WG Plus de Mexico S.R.L. de C.V. in Monterrey, Mexico. Wheelabrator Plus, a division of Wheelabrator Group, focuses on aftermarket requirements, and supplies parts, services, and equipment modernization program (EMP) support to help customers improve blast equipment productivity. Wheelabrator Plus offers customers cost-effective solutions for difficult cleaning problems. Regionally based sales and service teams provide on site training, maintenance, repair, upgrades and service programs, as well as a complete range of replacement parts for a variety of wheel blast and air blast applications.

Wheelabrator Plus Mexico will work with the group’s aftermarket operations in LaGrange GA, and OEM operations in Burlington, ON. The product and services offering will include: Wheelabrator and Wheelabrator Europe product line parts, competitive parts, Equipment Modernization Programs, technology solutions, including the patented high efficiency EZEFIT wheel, and certified maintenance and service support.

According to Wheelabrator Group CEO Robert Joyce, “The Mexico office is the next step in our global geographic expansion plans. The Monterrey office enables us to meet the needs of our rapidly expanding customer base in Mexico. It is also part of our broader Wheelabrator Plus strategy of providing local, responsive parts and service support to our equipment customers throughout the world, regardless of where their equipment was shipped from."
