October 4, 2006 —— Advanced Die Casting Co., Milwaukee, has been acquired by Rollcast L.L.C. for an undisclosed price. The organization is now known as Advance Die Casting Co., a division of Rollcast L.L.C.

The transaction was effective June 1.

Advance Die Casting has been in operation since 1920, producing high-pressure aluminum and zinc diecastings. It reports it will remain at it is location in Milwaukee, where it occupies two buildings with a total of 110,000 ft² of manufacturing space. Its equipment includes aluminum diecasting machines ranging from 400 to 1,200 tons, producing castings up to 40 lb in 360, 380, and 413 alloys; and zinc diecasting machines in the range of 100 to 600 tons, casting up to 15 lb in 903, 905 and ZA-8.
