Laurel Manufacturing Purchases Modern Die Casting

30,000 square-foot Elk Grove Village, IL, facility added

May 18, 2007-- Laurel Manufacturing LLC has purchased the assets of fellow Elk Grove Village, IL die caster, Modern Die Casting.

Modern Die Casting's newly-acquired 30,000 square-foot facility will remain under the direction of president Neal Shapiro and fellow Modern management.

Laurel Manufacturing is privately owned, specializing in aluminum, zinc, brass, and bronze die castings.

"Our customers can now look to Laurel Manufacturing for the service, responsiveness, and creative solutions that they received from Modern Die Casting," said Laurel owner Roger Weston.

"With 70 years of experience behind the new Laurel image, we remain secure in our position as a leading source of innovative solutions for the die casting industry."
