Equipment Merchants International Inc., Cleveland, has been named the exclusive sales representative in the U.S. and Canada for Senator Technology GmbH, a custom supplier of semi-permanent mold casting machines. Senator, headquartered in Buchholz, Germany, also offers a wide range of systems for metalcasting operations, including dosing devices, core-setting machinery, unloaders, and cooling devices.

In January of this year, Senator acquired the DISA Group's Serf subsidiary, which supplies fettling and finishing equipment for ferrous and light-metal castings. Serf also custom designs casting trim presses, trim dies, casting test lines, decoring equipment, sawing equipment, milling and grinding equipment, and lost foam cleaning equipment

EMI's specialties are coremaking systems, automated and standard green-sand molding systems, flasks, aluminum casting systems, gas generators, casting wedge units, robotic systems, and briquetting presses. It also offers re-manufacturing and parts-replacement services.
