Improves standing as manufacturer of collars, couplings, PT products

Climax Metal Products Co., a Cleveland-area manufacturer of collars, couplings, and keyless locking assemblies reports it has acquired the assets of the Cleveland Sales Co. (Clesco). The purchase price was not announced.

Clesco manufactures power-transmission components and zinc and aluminum diecast pulleys, at plants in Willoughby, OH, and Ennis, TX.

Climax Metal Products president Christopher Curran, stated: “The addition of Clesco strengthens Climax’s position as a leading manufacturer and marketer of shaft collars, rigid couplings, and other power transmission products, including diecast pulleys.”

Curran added that Clesco will strengthen Climax’s product portfolio, expand its our global presence, and increase shareholder value. He emphasized that “Climax and its Clesco acquisition will continue our focus on excellence in customer service.”
