Shanghai operation adds to local sales, service effort
Carrier Vibrating Equipment has opened a manufacturing plant in Shanghai, known as Carrier Vibrating Equipment (Shanghai) Co. Ltd. Carrier Vibrating Equipment designs and manufactures a range of vibratory process machinery for metalcasting, and other industries, including fluid-bed and conventional dryers and coolers, conveyors, feeders, screeners, shakeouts, and various other systems.
The new 8,400-m2 plant in Shanhai will be led by manufacturing manager Peter Zhou.
Carrier Vibrating has offered local service and sales support in China for more than 20 years.
“Although Carrier has operated in China and other Far East markets for many years, our expanding customer base in the region required a direct manufacturing presence,” stated president and CEO Brian Trudel. “The new Shanghai facility will significantly enhance our ability to service clients across the Pacific Rim.”
