Global trade event set for June 28-July 2, 2011
Messe Dsseldorf North America reports that dates have been set for the next staging of GIFA, the International Foundry Trade Fair, as well as its companion events, METEC, THERMPROCESS, and NEWCAST. The five-day program will be held June 28 through July 2, 2011, at the fairgrounds in Dsseldorf, Germany.

GIFA is generally considered to be the most important trade expo for the global metalcasting industry. METEC is the International Metallurgical Technology Trade Fair, presenting manufacturers and suppliers to primary metal producing operations. THERMPROCESS is International Trade Fair for Thermo Process Technology, covering various aspects of heat-treating, annealing, and other industrial heating processes.

Next year — June 23-25, 2009 — Messe Dsseldorf plans a separate presentation of NEWCAST, the International Castings Technology Fair, which is being staged on a two-year cycle while the other three events will continue on their four-year schedule. NEWCAST exhibitors present design technologies, services, and capabilities for ferrous and nonferrous castings and forgings.

For complete details on the 2011 events, as well as NEWCAST 2009, contact Messe Dsseldorf North America at tel. 312-781-5180, or by e-mail at info@mdna.com. Or visit www.mdna.com.
