New Company to Supply, Support Pouring Technology
Viking Technology to handle pourTECH; Hercules Crushers, too
Viking Technologies will become the sole distributor of KOINS’ pourTECH Automatic Pouring Systems and Hercules Crushers in North and South America. The news was announced in a message to all Koins Corp. customers. The change takes effect on August 1.
Viking Technologies is a new company established by Goran Lowback, who formerly was affiliated with LMI Selcom/Technologies and Koins Corp., and who has more than two decades of working experience with metalcasting and foundry technology. In addition to the distribution rights, Viking will manage customer support and spare-parts sales for current pourTECH Systems, LaserPour systems, and Hercules Crushers in North and South America.
Koins Corp. was established in 2004 when South Korea’s Koins Ltd. (which supplies manufacturing equipment for foundries) acquired the LaserPour organizations in the U.S. and Sweden.
Koins Corp. will fulfill its open purchase orders after the effective date, and customers with open invoices should remit to Koins Corp as usual. Koins Corp. will honor all existing warranties, with all warranty issues subcontracted either to Viking Technologies or to Koins Ltd.
As of August 1, all purchase orders for spare parts, repairs, and service should be addressed to Viking Technologies. Effective immediately, all quotations will be issued by Viking Technologies.
