Will Be Used For Hardening Stainless Steel Castings.
Thermal processing systems designer and manufacturer Ipsen Inc. has shipped a new TurboTreater vacuum furnace to Conbraco Industries, located in Conway, SC.

The model H5448 horizontal loading vacuum furnace will be used for hardening stainless steel castings for the manufacturer of plumbing and heating products. The furnace features a patented 12 bar nitrogen internal quench system, energy efficient graphite hot zone (capable of processing temperatures up to 2,400°F), and a CompuVac interactive control system.

The unit's hot zone measures 36 x 36 x 48 inches and is capable of handling loads up to 3,500 lbs. This is the fourth such shipment of a TurboTreater to Conbraco, joining H5448 2-bar, H6060 6-bar, and H5448 10-bar vacuum furnaces.
