Seeking input on worker hazards
The Dept. of Labor's Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) is hosting its first-ever 'virtual stakeholder meeting' seeking input about combustible dust workplace hazards on Monday, June 28. Comments from the meeting will be used to help the agency develop a proposed standard on combustible dust.

“OSHA is committed to expanding the opportunity for the public to engage in its rule making activities, and this virtual stakeholder meeting will afford a wide range of stakeholders the opportunity to participate,” said Asst. Secretary of Labor for OSHA David Michaels. “This is an important rule making, and we want to ensure that all interested stakeholders have an opportunity to send us their comments and suggestions.”

To register for the live chat at 1:00 p.m. EDT,  visit http://www.dol.gov/dol/chat.htm. Following the hour-long meeting, participants will have access to the site through July 7 to provide feedback or receive additional information.
