For the second consecutive year, Grede Holdings LLC was named a 2009 recipient of Navistar's Diamond Supplier award for exceeding performance expectations last year. Grede is among 37 of Navistar's 1,200 suppliers to be recognized, and the only iron foundry to receive the distinction.
Grede manufactures components for Navistar's MaxxForce diesel engines at its Menomonee Falls, WI machining operation, and at its casting facilities in Wauwatosa, WI; Iron Mountain, MI; and Biscoe, NC. The company also supplies Navistar with parts manufactured using its proprietary lost foam casting process from its Columbiana, AL facility.
