Commander's Choice Award Presented at 2010 DLA Business Alliance Awards
The American Metalcasting Consortium's Casting for Improved Readiness program was recognized by the Defense Logistics Agency with the Commander's Choice Award.

The award, presented to a non-DLA member "whose dedication and commitment to the agency's mission affects quality of life for U.S. service members", was presented in recognition of the "Procurement Solutions Network for Cast Parts" program. It connects the Dept. of Defense parts acquisition needs to the metalcasting industry. The ATI-led project had improved supply chains, reduced costs and delivery times, and increased readiness and sustainability for warfighter support.

Ryan Moore of the Non-Ferrous Founders Society and principal investigator for the project accepted the award on behalf of ATI and the American Metalcasting Consortium from DLA Director Navy Vice Admiral Alan Thompson.
