Sixteen sites slated across the country
An in-depth overview of today's environmental regulations — including new reporting responsibilities under the 261-page greenhouse gas rule — will be presented by regulatory compliance training firm Lion Technology Inc.

The two-day comprehensive workshop will be held at 16 sites across the country. Registration includes course reference materials, networking luncheon, certificate of achievement, and one-year follow-up support. The workshop is a great overview for those new to environmental compliance and is a comprehensive refresher for experienced EH&S professionals.

The latest round of EPA regulatory initiatives include new mandatory Greenhouse Gas Reporting Rule, which requires large emitters of GHGs to monitor and report their emissions.  The program is also essential for those who are applying ISO 14000 registration and need to know how to systematically identify all relevant legal requirements.

Topics include the Clean Water Act; Clean Air Act; Safe Drinking Act; Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act; Resource Conservation and Recovery Act; Emergency Planning and Community Right to Know Act; Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act; Toxic Substances Control Act; and Oil Pollution Act.

"It is imperative for industry to keep up-to-date with changing regulations," said Lion Technology's director of corporate training Scott Dunsmore. "EH&S excellence can provide your company with a competitive advantage in today's business environment."
