Five-Axis Vertical Machining

FANUC s Alpha T21iE offers high speed, fast cycling vertical machining with the capability to eliminate delays in floor-to-floor time. the interface allows up to 5-axis simultaneous machining, or development into a highly productive machining cell using robotic loading. The new machine has a 10,000 rev/min direct coupled BT30 spindle with a 24,000 rev/min, high speed option. It is available in three models: the ES is compact with a X-axis travel of 300 mm, Y-axis of 300 mm, and a Z-axis of 330 mm; the E has an X-axis extended to travel 500 mm; the EL has a 700 mm X-axis, 400 mm Y-axis, and a 330 mm Z-axis.
