ALLIED MINERALS line of Tuff-crete refractory products are low-cement castables specifically designed to be installed by shot-creting, but also can be pumped, vibration-cast, or self-leveled behind forms. Low porosity, high strength, and good abrasion resistance make these products good for a variety of applications. Castables range from 45% alumina to 90% alumina, and include fused silica, silicon carbide, and fused AZS grains for specific high wear and/or for corrosive environments.
