MEISTER ABRASIVES' new HPB technology is available through the company's grinding product line. The products include internal and external CBN wheels from 1-70 mm and lapping plates up to 1,200 mm, manufactured to customer specifications. The bondings are composed of sintered glass and are initally mixed in powered form, along with the CBN or Diamond abrasive. Each component of the mix is precisely determined by the required characteristics of the final wheel. After pressing to shape, the vitrified bonded wheels are fired in a high-temperature kiln.
