EMI Acquires Metallizing/Machining Firm

Addition bring cost-effective remanufacturing capability

Equipment Merchants International Inc. (EMI), Cleveland, reports it has acquired AISCO Metallizing, also of Cleveland, for an undisclosed price.

AISCO performs turnkey metallizing and machining of worn and damaged components. According to EMI, the addition of AISCO “compliments EMI’s primary line of business, and enhances EMI’s ability to re-manufacture equipment at a very competitive cost.

EMI supplies equipment and services for a wide range of metalcasting applications, including include systems for coremaking, automated and standard molding operations, flasks, aluminum casting, gas generators, casting wedge units, robotic systems, and briquetting presses.
