New Sales/Marketing VP for Pacific Cast Technologies

Artache will guide airframe, turbine engine, and aerospace structural efforts

Pacific Cast Technologies, a subsidiary of Ladish Co. in Albany, OR, has named Jerry Artache as its new v.p. - Sales and Marketing. He will lead the investment caster's sales and marketing efforts for its titanium products. PCT supplies investment-cast components for airframe, turbine engine, and aerospace structural applications.

Before joining Pacific Cast, Artache was business development manager for Columbia Helicopters Inc., where he led marketing and sales for the aircraft maintenance business. Previously, he was product line manager for Honeywell.

Artache served with the U.S. Air Force in various managerial and directorial positions, in a range of projects and operational responsibilities, including rocket propulsion systems development, facilities management, space launch operations, and satellite system planning and development. PCT states this experience provides a valuable perspective for strategic marketing, sales, and project management.

Artache is a graduate of the University of Michigan with a B.S. degree in Aerospace Engineering and a M.S. in Systems Management from Webster University. He is a certified Project Management Professional and holds a number of Six Sigma certifications.

At PCT, Artache has been responsible for P&L, sales goals, and project execution on aviation and automotive projects. According to the company, he has "delivered on project planning, execution, and control of turbo products, R&D, and facilities projects." He has led or participated in program management training seminars, development of products, merger and acquisitions, and product sales.
