Honeywell Environmental and Combustion Controls NA produces diecast aluminum combustion control valves on eight diecasting (500-900 ton) machines in Dublin, CA, for 100% of Honeywell’s diecasting requirements.
Sealed and delivered
A view of an automated impregnation system for sealing porosity in aluminum diecastings. It’s a three-stage process: first, sealant is applied to the casting under vacuum, followed by a cold wash to remove excess sealant from surfaces and holes, and then a hot-cure cycle, to polymerize the liquid sealant.
Processing at lower cost
Diagrammatic illustration of the Ultraseal Sealant Recovery System (SRS). The SRS technology provides cost-effective processing while avoiding process-chemical effluent treatment costs, and it eliminates solids disposal, reducing the associated evaporation costs.
