Aerocast in 10-Year Supply Deal with Sikorsky

Earns NADCAP certification for welding aluminum, magnesium
Aerocast International Inc. has entered into a 10-year, multi-million dollar agreement to supply components to Sikorsky Aircraft Corp. Aerocast International is a wholly owned subsidiary of Aerocast Inc. The latter produces complex aluminum and magnesium sand castings in Mesa, AZ, and Nogales, Mexico, primarily for aerospace manufacturing. Sikorsky Aircraft is a division of United Technologies Corp. that designs, manufactures, and services military and commercial helicopters; fixed-wing aircraft; spare parts and maintenance, repair and overhaul services for helicopters and fixed-wing aircraft; and civil helicopter operations. Also, Aerocast International recently earned certification from the National Aerospace and Defense Contractors Accreditation Program (NADCAP) certification to fulfill welding requirements on aluminum and magnesium castings. NADCAP is a global cooperative standards-setting program for aerospace engineering, defense and related industries.
