Flue-Gas Combustion Analyzers

Jan. 10, 2012
Devices detect carbon monoxide, nitrous oxide, and uncombusted hydrocarbons
Two series of devices for analyzing the content of flue gas measure the quantities and concentrations of gases present in exhausted gas, for safety and production efficiency.

PALMER WAHL is offering a wide range of flue-gas combustion analyzers, including two different model series: the U Line models are designed for HVAC applications, for burners under 70k; the G Line models are for use by industrial technicians, and designed for burners over 70k. Models in compliance with EPA Protocols CTM-030 and CTM-034 are available.

The most commonly used fuels are pre-loaded at the factory, while the devices may be configured to detect other fuels using the GasConfig software for PC that is included with most models. By measuring the quantities and concentrations of gases present in exhaust, these combustion-analysis tools allow the user to maintain the safest and most efficient conditions possible for their environment and equipment. Users can detect carbon monoxide, nitrous oxide, and uncombusted hydrocarbons in the exhaust gas from combustion processes, to ensure the employee safety and equipment efficiency.

Users also can deploy the analyzers to identify maintenance problems that develop over time, and as efficiency drops. A magnetic rubber holster protects the unit from drops and allows convenient, hands-free operation. A built-in impact printer produces records that don’t fade (as documents printed with thermal printers may do.)

The devices’ feature on-board memory that will hold 250 readings; an optional flash extension is available to expand memory capacity.
