Ashland Casting Solutions reports it has a new agreement with TEMC, Metal and Chemical Corp. of Taiwan, giving TEMC an exclusive right to distribute Ashland Casting Solutions binders and EXACTCAST sleeve technologies to Taiwanese foundries. "TEMC is a leading sleeve and coating supplier for the metalcasting industry in Taiwan. The strong relationship of TEMC with Taiwanese foundries will enable Ashland Casting Solutions to sell products in these areas more effectively. We are very pleased to have TEMC as our exclusive binders and EXACTCAST sleeves distributor in Taiwan," said Ken Chang, business development manager, Taiwan, Ashland Casting Solutions.
According to Mike Swartzlander, vice president, Ashland Specialty Chemical and general manager, Ashland Casting Solutions, "to be positioned in the Taiwanese market with TEMC is very positive for both companies. Their reputation in fiber sleeves and coatings coupled with our leading global position in binders and EXACTCAST sleeves provide a strong offering to foundries in this market."
