Diecasting Equipment Builder Establishes U.S. Subsidiary

William P. Damian to head L.K. Machinery Inc.

June 20, 2006 -- L.K. Machinery Co. Ltd. has established a new subsidiary in the U.S., L.K. Machinery Inc., and named William P. Damian as its president. Based in Hong Kong, L.K. Machinery is a manufacturer of diecasting and injection molding systems. Its product lines include hot- and cold-chamber for aluminum, magnesium, and zinc diecasting, from 8 to 4,500 metric tons, as well as trim presses and auxiliary equipment. It also produces the PT Series plastic injection-molding machines from 30 to 2,200 metric tons.

Damian will be responsible for growing L.K. Machinery's sales and customer support services in the U.S. The new office will work together with Quantum Machinery International Inc., L.K. Machinery's subsidiary in Canada.

Damian brings 15 years of diecasting industry experience to the position, including a term as president of StrikoDynarad, and director of engineering and international sales with Prince Machine Corp. (IdraPrince).
