Weeks Named CEO at Foseco Metallurgical Inc.

Replacing Stanbridge; also set as regional director for North and South America

August 22, 2006 -- Cleveland-based Foseco Metallurgical Inc. has announced that Jeff Weeks will take the post of chief executive officer for its USA and Canada Foundry Products business unit. Foseco Metallurgical is a division of Foseco plc, and supplies molten-metal conditioning, filtration, and handling products to foundries and steelmaking operations. This includes mold fluxes, nodulizers, inoculants, feeding systems, filtration products, core and mold coatings, ladle liners and refractories, lost foam patterns, coatings, and beads.

Weeks is succeeding Roger Stanbridge who will retire at the end of 2006 after 38 years with the Foseco Group. Stanbridge will remain as president of Foseco Metallurgical Inc. until his retirement. At that time, Weeks will assume the additional responsibility as Foseco Foundry Regional Director for North and South America.

Weeks takes the post in Foseco’s Americas division from his experience with the company in South Africa. There, he has been regional director for Foseco's businesses in Africa, India, and the Middle East.
