ArvinMeritor Venture to Supply Drivetrain Components in China ArvinMeritor Inc. signed a strategic partnership with Shanghai-based Yutong Group Co. Ltd. to supply drivetrain components for buses and coaches in China. The group will deliver non-drive and drive axles to Yutong, and will manufacture differential carriers and brake callipers at its Wuxi plant, to be applied to Yutong’s axles. Read more |
Georg Fischer Expects “Worst Will Be Over” in ‘09 Georg Fischer Corp. reports that the restructuring program it started in May is “working effectively” to reduce overall costs by 350 million Swiss francs (est. $327.5 million) by 2012. The group, which includes ferrous and nonferrous metalcasting plants in its GF Automotive unit, said it expects to post an operating profit in 2010. Read more |
New Company to Supply, Support Pouring Technology Viking Technologies will become the sole distributor of KOINS’ pourTECH Automatic Pouring Systems and Hercules Crushers in North and South America.
